Vst instruments halion and groove agent won’t load on windows

I was given a windows pc and installed Cubase 9 and the usb I lock. It works, but won’t load the vst instruments halion or groove agent se. I had it installed on Mac and it worked fine.

Did you install the plug-ins, please? What exactly does it mean, the plug-ins won’t load? Do you get any message?

Thanks for asking. I have installed Cubase 9 for windows on my computer. The basic install includes se versions of vst instruments. I also have a Mac using Cubase 9. The vst instruments installed with Cubase on my Mac, but won’t with my pc. I also tried to install the groove agent se 4 fix, but it doesn’t work either. I’ve looked in all the folders and for some reason the vst instruments aren’t found.

Wasn’t there Full Installer for Cubase 9?

That’s what i used. From Steinberg website. Including 9 update. I installed and uninstalled 3 times with same result.

I’m actually talking specifically about vst instruments. Groove agent and halion se. Neither is available in the vst instruments pull down in a Cubase project. I haven’t actually tried a project on my pc. Up until now I’ve only had Mac versions of nuendo and now Cubase . I’m trying to use the pc to compose and move projects to my main studio which I will have my Mac Cubase system tied into a Radar and o2r96.

The Mac works fine and I have done several projects on it.
