VST Libraries Not Displaying in Media Bay

Hello,

When I began using Cubase 15 Artist, my vst library BBCSO was showing up and I was able to select from it’s various instruments. Now, for some unknown reason, my two libraries from Spitfire (BBCSO and Originals Epic Choir) are not showing in the media bay panel. There are greyed out general icons with their titles, however, when I dble click them, there is a flash of lists and then the window goes blank. I’ve been using BBCSO with Dorico for a long time and it is recognized every time. I get advise to click the clogwheel to add a new path to scan to find them, but Cubase 15 does not have the feature. Has anyone else experienced this and have you solved it, I’d be so very grateful for any help? Like I said it worked fine and now it doesn’t.

Thank you in advance,

John

Are you talking about/serching in the Media Bay or Media rack? The manual has 45 pages of explanation for the two, and the serch is a bit different in the two.

Thanks for your response, Buer, I thought that I could double click the BBCSO icon it would open up the plugin like say, Halion Sonic…it did not. I finally attempted to drag the BBCSO icon over onto the main timeline (tracks), the plugin then appeared for me to select instruments and work with it. So, I think I got my answer, once again, thanks.

Good to hear that you’ve got it working.
Ass you found out:
BBCSO has its own plugin player, and so doesn’t use Halion as a player!
