Sorry but what does it mean I can duplicate a layer across songs? isn´t the same as pasting it?
and what does it mean visual feedback for Context-Menu?
… oh, the keyword “shared” is missing the Version history. Correct is :
VL marks the object with the context menu with an orange rectangle

In my opinion duplicate combines copy & paste into one step. But I might be wrong.
That’s correct.
Paste/Duplicate Shared would only work within a Song, now it can be done across Songs.
duplicating shared in the same song makes sence because with one command you performe 2 operations (copy and paste) but duplicating to another song implies copying the layer then going to the selected song and hit duplicate which is the same as hitting paste, or am I missing something?
Duplicate Part Shared will work as well as Paste Shared across Songs with the next version.
