it’s me again. A new 2.1.21 Pre-Release of VST Live is online. You can download it here. You also can find a Version History there. If you found new bugs or bugs which are not fixed, please create a new thread and title it with [2.1.21].

Note : We are really sorry for 2.1.20.

You guys are incredible!
I use a very rare DAW named Cubase with bugs in years are not solved and here? Resolved in “seconds”!
And btw. … copy a part now the layers sounding which are not before 2.1.20.
The “Next part via remote when events deleted after recording” is solved.

Ive tried this release and it crashed every time I tried to load project. Rolled back to 2.1.19 that the last version that works for me.

can you please check if a Crash.Log was created?

Mac : /Users/Your_Username/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports
Windows : C:\Users\Your_Username\Documents\Steinberg\CrashDumps

Hi @Ultrakeys,

all your reports were created with Version 2.1.19. Please update to 2.1.21, then try again. Please delete also your crash logs in the case new logs will be created.

… it’s crashing with the D-50 Plug-In. Very strange crash. Sorry. I’ll contact Roland to get more info about that one. Meanwhile you would need to rename your D-50.vst3 plug-in to get the project open. I’ll hurry.

Weird. Works ok in 2.1.19 so must be clash with something in 2.1.21. I’ll remove the plugin from the song and try again and install 2.1.21 then reinstate the D50 plugin see what happens.

… yes, we’ve changed something there. But it should not crash here. We need to find out why. That’s why we need access to the Plug-In. I’ve contacted Roland already.

… try out version 2.1.22. We get access to the D-50 Plug-In and resolved the crash. Sorry for that one.

Updated and this does not crash and seems stable. Loading of project and preload appears quicker.
