VST Live 2.1.22 Bug of FX channels

We create a stack, add two different effects to the FX channels, and what happens when we create two automation tracks FX 1 and FX2 have the same effect name! This is a bug.
Accordingly, automation will not be written to FX2

The option when an effect is inserted into FX 2, it is no longer in the automation, it is simply absent

And the option when there is only one effect on fx1, on the automation track it takes up both fx and fx2, how is that even possible?

… it’s fixed and was added to the next Pre-Release. Please re-try it.

Thank you.
Michael.

Thank you

… sorry, it’s fixed, to.

… and this one is fixed, too.

Thank you very much for reporting,
Michael.

… I am always forget to mention this very important detail : The reported bugs are fixed and have been added to the next Pre-Release (2.1.24) which will be released tomorrow. Please re-try it with that one.

Michael.

Great! We’ll check tomorrow.

When you create a track, there are 8 inserts and 8 sends. In the automation track, I see the sends and they work, but there are no inserts.

With FX 1 and FX2 the issue is closed now they work correctly
Best regards, Sergey

Hi,

… let’s say

  1. Start VST Live, New Project, Select TRACKS
  2. Add Audio Track and add “AutoPan” as an Insert

  1. Add an Automation Track
  2. The “AutoPan” Insert Plug-In is now available as an Automation Source and Destination with all the Automation Parameter of the Plug-In

… what are you missing?
/Michael.

I may not have conveyed my idea correctly, I’ll explain now.
We create an audio track, for example, it will be a guitar or something else, it doesn’t matter, it has 8 inserts and 8 sends and I want to turn off the insert of this effect (well, the delay of Arturia does not have a button to turn off) screenshot 1 by clicking on this, the insert that is not needed at the moment will be turned off

Screenshot 2 you can see they are turned off

Having created an automation track and selected Track 1 as what I want to control, I don’t see the possibility to turn off inserts, but I can turn off sends

And they work, they can be turned off!

Automation of sends https://drive.google.com/file/d/16ikaYXEhms4fuY_GpVw44BA2Hb7yXIHb/view?usp=drive_link
That’s how it is.
Best regards, Sergey

I would also like to be able to turn off the inserts using automation.
That is, any effect in the insert can also be turned off at least 8 at once, especially since the sends do this calmly and the Fx channels in the stack are also calmly turned off, proven!
Because not every plugin has a MIDI command to turn it off.
Best regards, Sergey

… thank you very much. Those missing Automation Values were added to the next Pre-Release (2.1.25).

Thank you very much for the quick solution to the issue!
Best regards, Sergey

Forgive me, of course, but it turned out that this is not all.
The same thing in the Mixer, these missing automation values also need to be added to the mixer inserts, they are also not there, it is very difficult to just check everything at once, sorry)
And today I remembered that there may be something similar there, but in fact they are not there either…
Sincerely, Sergey

… sure. Those missing Insert-Enable Automation Parameters are also available with the next Pre-Release coming this Friday.
