wow!! thank you lot of fixes, may I ask you @Spork what changed in video renderer engine?

May i try to reenable video multithread and see if i don’t have glitches in audio? i had to switch off video mutithread because i have so many audio threads that when multiple video threads starts for an incoming new video clip during song, i have dropouts in audio.

ACKTUALLY:

  • monitor mixer:

    • Now GROUPS and SONG GROUPS are shown in OUT list (not correct)
    • no way to scroll down if out list exceed lenght of screen
    • no way of drag to reorder the rectangles of shown OUT chan
    • no way to filter with out i wanna see in the list
    • no way to remove a monitored channel (only removing send from main)
    • pre/post are not sync between main mixer and mon mixer, seem monitor icon are reversed. I load a song with all sends in prefader and monitor mixer shows post fader, the if i control pre-post from monitor it works reversed, if i control pre-post from main it works but does not reflect in monitor mixer
    • Typing a value in fader volume field does not work
    • double click on fader bring it to -inf instead of 0.0 dB
    • Still have noises (always when a insert is in use on a backing track, very quickly at song switch) and long loading time on old project if i change song with monitor mixer in sight see video

It is not only not “not correct”, but intentional. Why should you not be able to use this wonderful tool to control your drum group mix?

will improve

Later maybe

Later maybe

coming next version

graphic error, fixed next version

will improve

double (or ctrl/)-clicking any value (fader, dial etc) will set it to its default value, which for sends is -inf.

…etc, different issues

Hi! @musicullum !! Sorry if my post seemed rude, I just wanted to be sintetic and pragmatic on ways to improve this wonderful new monitor mixer!

Cool but then we need a way to select separate filter and reorder which outs we wanna see for quick access (visibility and order tabs like main mixer but for the outs section). I have like 8 groups and 12 out channels. They are shown in mixed order (should at least be up-down in same order they are left-right in main mixer?) and not movable and filterable. And I would like to have only my 6 iem outs or at least on top of the list.

Well nope, if I double click on sends in main mixer, they default to 0.0 that’s why I noticed the difference. More , it’s easy to scroll down to -inf on the flight, not easy to place at 0.0 especially since writing 0 in text field don’t work.

Yes sorry, I opened another thread for this but had no feedback from @Spork , and since this is the most annoying one and the one that keeps me from using V3 and its advantages in prime time (31th December I play in a disco and want to use V3) I just aggregated this issue speaking about monitor mixer issues .

Guys, really I don’t mean to attack or be rude, but I am a quick tester and have projects that can really push VST Live to the limits, I have a passion in bug finding and squashing and am a big fan of your work and this wonderful program. Please if you want to accelerate testing and have quick bugs feedback, feel free to private contact me, I am eager to work with you as a tester between releases if you think this can be helpful for you and beneficial to have releases with less troubles.

Sincerely, Ciro.

Personally I welcome it too  sure, later a hide will be welcome of course, but step by step

Thanks for that, and all of your valuable prior help. Monitor Mixer related issues are mostly wishes, except for dbl/ctrl click sends wrong default and those confirmed. We’re happy that the new stuff works out in general, and will take it from there step by step.

And at 00:28-29 there is a “zzzzzzzz” before feedback-whistle comes in. @Spork

That “zzzzzzz” could happen me (WIN11) in showtime
Ant that “zzzzzzz” can happen on MacOs when connection gets interrupted (eg changing samplerate on dLive (digital mixer), or unplugging interface)…
For cases above “zzzzzzz” is infinite until reset-audio
