SETLIST: Remove Unused Songs
Setlists grow and grow, and until now there was no easy way to identify songs that were no longer referenced. Therefore, we have added a new “Remove Unused Songs” function. Songs highlighted in purple are currently not referenced by the setlist and can be removed if desired.
Ok, I understand. But it would be practical if one could choose to remove the files because they take up space and are time-consuming to figure out which ones belong to the setlist.
Wouldn’t say “old”, rather as called “not linked”. Eg you have some orphaned songs you never ever finally linked to any setlists. That highlight will indicate those… or if you just want to create setlist dropping all newly added “not jet linked to setlist” songs, that highlight helps a bit
They might be used in multiple projects, and it is impossible to figure out where (could be spread across the world).
Again, “File/Save Archive” is your friend. If you can run the so created project w/o problems, and it contains everything you need, you can delete (or better archive for backup) the old folder altogether.
musicullum Under ‘Song’ > ‘Song Media Files’ there is the path to the file. Can’t we check if any project is using it? If not, should we delete the file?
