… it’s Friday and we don’t stop. A new version 3.0.46 is available.
You can download it here.
The version history is available here.
See you,
Michael.
I’m having a problem where song lyrics are sometimes inserted in the wrong places (see video).
This problem occurs quite often, even though it sometimes seems to fix itself over time.
Gigged tonight with .46 … happened to me that after changing a DMX OUT port associated device (from art net out to usb out) all DMX tracks in all songs reverted to out ND , had to go thru all set list and change back to “DMX OUT” port.
AND a new bug very annoying …. In preferences audio I have selected the menu voice to allow continuous audio from global stacks during song switch, previously worked like a charm. Tonight every song change, a brief interruption in global stacks during song change (singer speaking) … will check again tomorrow after some sleep , to be sure I can reproduce it… this is one for which I could have reverted to previous version, took the risk and paid consequences during a live show ![]()

This has to do with global stacks connected to a track for each song.
Live input ==> Global stack1 ==> live output no interruptions at song change
Meanwhile:
Live input ==> Song1:Track1 ==> Global stack1 ==> Live output
Live input ==> Song2:Track1 ==> Global stack1==> Live output
…and so on for each song in playlist brief interruption at song change depending on how heavy is the song
Workaround: parallel recording:
Live input1 ==> song1:Track1 ==> virtual out 1
Live input 1 ==>song2:track1 ==> virtrual out 1
and so on
for live uninterrupted Live input1 ==> Global stack 1 ==> Live output
for replay or recorded track Virtual in 1 ==> global stack 1 ==> Live output
… so modifying 84 songs (and the global stack previously linked to all tracks in different songs is broken don’t detach from tracks and don’t take live input, so new global stack, all automation in all songs to be relinked … aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh)
Cheers, Ciro.
will check
Thanks, I solved with the workaround described above, at least for lead singer mic (too much work to do it for each instrument 8 tracks and limited virtual audio cables) , and anyway that is the only important one that should go uninterrupted during loading times.
Cheers!
Also, possibly linked to the stacks issue.
Notes held down in a VST disappear briefly when the next song is loaded and then come back again.
@ciro: not that you there are 2 issues in this thread, this will treat the stacks interrupts but not DMX!
@musicullum after reassigning all Dmx outs to all songs and tracks, saved on .46 then reopen, with or without usb Dmx connected , it auto switch the port device usb<artnet and no track output lost anymore. So it seems after reassigning problem does not reappear.
Did this work w/o interruption before (and before when)?
what preference is that?
works like a charm here.
So I took your latest project (Dec 25), which has only 2 Songs though…anyway, there is a connection only in the 2nd Song from a track to the global (!) Stack - which nevertheless shows “IN 1” as input. But internally it does have that connection. No idea how you ever get this to happen, but in general, your projects are very complex and hard to track…under “normal” conditions (and from the coded logic) there are no gaps for global Stacks when switching Songs here.
Isn’t that the “Keep Channels Active” option?
New track, set output to a global stack. For each song. this way each song have a record track attached to every global stack and I can multitrack record each song while using global stacks only.
