I’m trying to send audio to OBS from VST Live, but the audio recordings are garbled and choppy.
Any help on fixing this would be great.
CPU load ok, not using too low buffersize in VL?
I tried various buffer sizes, CPU usage is low. I was using a Steinberg UR44 interface. When I removed it everything was crystal clear.
Have you played with the sample rate?
Yes I have it did not make a difference
What about in obs?
Change sample rates in OBS and VST Live and made sure they were both the same rate each time I made a change and tested.
There is mention of audio issues in a number of posts on the obs forum - might be worth a look.
OBS works fine with my Focusrite 18i20 and works fine with VST Live with no audio interface, the problem seems the be either the UR44 ASIO driver.
