VST Live & Apollo x4 Virtual Console Inputs

Hey Folks,

i´m a long time Cubase User and like to use now VST Live with my Apollo X4 Interface.

Whereas in Cubase i was able to assign Outputs to the Apollo Console seperate “Virtual Inputs”, i´m stuck with configure this alike from VST Pro.

Under “Device” → “Connections” → “Ouputs” i see all the Option to choose e.g. “Audio Device: Universal Audio Thunderbolt 3” but the Signal does not lead there…

Any Suggenstions or hints on this?

In UA Console, i get an singnal Input, but only on the Main Bus and can´t route this.

Appreciate your help,

Dennis

Hi! UAD console has a view for I/O’s
Check it and select them regarding, at least that I/O view helped me a few times.
If you still stuck, let me know, but it will work, I’m sure, no worries

Hey Elian!

In VSTL have you set the mixer output channels to your connection?

You add extra connections for each output you need, same for inputs. Can be mono or stereo.

Hi Folks,

i´ve made a smal Video about my Configuration both within VSTL and Console.
Please have a look here

Thanks!

Turns out, that i have assigned the wrong channels :see_no_evil_monkey:

Thought this must be TB Channel 1 to 8. Corrwect is it starts with channels 7 and 8…

Thanks Guys!

Exactly the reason i suggested to check the I/O view, saved me a few times with my UADs
