VST Live auf Macbook startet nicht mehr (Initialising VSTSound Database 0/2)

Hi. Ich habe VST Live auf dem Macbook installiert. Funktionierte bislang alles super. Hatte dann ein Projekt, welches auf einem anderen Rechner bearbeitet wurde versucht zu laden. Seitdem kann ich VST live nicht mehr öffnen. Beim Start friert das Programm bei “Initialising VSTSound Database (0/2)” ein.
Kann jemand helfen?
PS: Alles schon mehrmals neu installiert. Aber immer das selbe Problem.

…ist nicht von VST Live, sondern von anderen Komponenten (Steinberg plugin presets).
Versuche mal, ob der Steinberg Library Manager mehr weiss, ob etwas fehlt oder kaputt ist?

p.s. wenn’s geht bitte bei englisch bleiben, dann hilft es mehr usern. Google Translate hilft gerne

Thanks for the reply. Everything is fine in the library manager. Studio One loads without any problems. But VST Live always hangs.
I’m desperate.

/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Content/VST Sound/

… and tell me which files are available?

And which version of VST Live are you running?

Can you please update to the latest “Pre-Release”?
1.1 You can download the latest version here
1.2 Manually delete the VST Live from your Applications folder
1.3 Install 1.4.59
Temporary rename the folder /Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Content/VST Sound/
Now run VST Live. Does it start?
Close VST Live
Rename the folder from [2] to the original name “VST Sound”
Start VST Live again

What are your results?

Let’s try this. Can you locate the following folder …
/Users/Your_Username/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/VST Live
… and rename it? Then start VST Live, is it better?

Which OS version are you running?

Sorry, that it takes so long. But I did not have such kind of problem before. I think a Plug-In troubles VST Live. The message “VSTSound database …” is just the last one VST Live shows …

Excellent. Can you please zip the old one and give it to me? After that you can delete it. VST Live will create a new one after it has been closed.
