Yes, it’s not Friday - but we want to continue improving VST Live 3.
No VST Live 2 this time? That’s right. Of course, VST Live 2 users will receive the next Pre-Release on Friday as usual.
The focus of this version is the video engine. It brings performance improvements, better compatibility, and increased stability with various crash fixes.

And it’s different which tracks are playing audio and which ones aren’t, depending on the computer I am running it on (desktop/laptop). The only thing that they have in common is that some tracks aren’t working.
At this point, I haven’t had a single useable stable version of v3 and while it’s commendable that there are weekly updates, I don’t know how anyone can be using this for gigs?
Is v2 working more reliably? All I need is audio and video output at this point.
Why are we surprised? Everyone’s probably happy with everything. Only a few are outraged that the same dawprojects that was announced with the release of version 2 still doesn’t work: Import and export of media projects and dawprojects - #9 by sergeantt67 .
The automation bug: Bug in Automation List Editor Position hasn’t been resolved for six months, and I think everyone can come up with many more examples.
I don’t know how much disrespect one must have for their customers to mock them like that. I can’t find any other reasonable words anymore.
We are constantly promised that everything will get better soon, but… things are still the same.
Until you have enough programmers who can quickly fix the bugs and turn things around, nothing will change! Because right now, you’re not capable of doing anything about it!
