Hi,

we are very sorry.

Version 3.0.55 introduced a new Feature :

New feature: Mixer → Send Type
It is now possible to send an audio signal before any insert effects.

While this new feature worked well with new projects, we had some trouble restoring older projects correctly.

Version 3.0.56 also broke the Chord Editor. Behind the scenes, we are currently working on improvements to the Chord Editor, and unfortunately some of these changes accidentally made it into this version.

Version 3.0.57 is online now and should be fine now. If something is still not working as expected, please let us know.

Please keep in mind: It’s not always easy to keep everything in sync, week after week. But that’s also what our Pre-Releases are for. :slight_smile:

@Spork well, in Monitor all sends are represented as pre-inserts at first opening, even if in mixer tab they are right

And changing sends from mixer don’t change send gui in moniotr, while changing send in monitor change gui in mixer!

oh! could you check with your upcoming fix if preInsert states are remaining if once set to preInsert.
Example:
Project /Mixer / GlobalGroup1
Send1 from GlobalGroup1
type set to preInsert
Navigate one song rev / fwd.
for me SEND1-type it’s changing back to preFader at song changes.

Felician, if a channel is global, obviously his sends settings are global too … should stay the same no matter song switches… no?

yes but currently somehow… the icon is switching back from preInsert to preFader when changing songs

I can replicate it, @fkalmus!

  1. New project. In the Mixer add new global Group (Group 2).
  2. To the Song 1 add Audio track and add Send 1 to the Group 2 and change Send Type to Pre-Insert.
  3. Add another song - Song 2, add Audio track and add Send 1 to the Group 2 and change Send Type to Pre-Fader.

Then change songs and nothing wrong happens, right? So in this point we cannot replicate this bug.

  1. Now switch to Monitor and select Group 2, switch between songs, you’ll see that Send Type stays on Pre-Insert and this is already reported bug .
  2. Now go back to Tracks page or Mixer page and change one Send type to Pre-Insert.
  3. Switch between songs and you’ll see that Pre-Insert turns to Pre-Fader.

It seems that this bug is related to the Monitor’s bug and I’m almost sure that it will be fixed with a Monitor’s bugfix.

This was my short inspection after today’s live performance with version 3.0.57. Everything was fine for my small needs.

yepp, therefore stepped back to 3.0.55 where preInsert sate remains correctly at songChanges
