VST Live Pro 3 crashes when loading a certain project

Hi all,

Just wanted to report an issue.

Recently (after installing VST Live Pro 3 to my laptop) I noticed that the project, which I’d be working on my Desktop, fails to load on my laptop.
When I attempt to load the project, it begins to load the songs in, but stops at around 90-91% and then the whole application crashes.

When I create a new project I get no issues. This error only occurs on the project I have been working on.

Any suggestions?

Also, when trying to load the project on any other machine, it works fine, just on this laptop for some reason, so that rules out a courrupt project file

If VL is crashing because of any reason, developers are asking for crash dump file that gives more detail about:

macOS : /Users/Your_Username/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports

windows : C:\Users\Your_Username\Documents\Steinberg\CrashDumps

Similiar thing happened to me once on a specific computer. Uninstalling the app and then deleting, all the left out files of VSTL then reinstalling fixed the error.

I think this was the referance on windows that I used might have done some other cleaning up not sure:

In any case send the crash reports first so devs can see what is happening.

I think it’s an issue with version 3.0.20, I reverted back to an older install 3.0.10 and it resolved the issue
