Perfect! Thanks to the entire community and Steinberg for the quality of their products and their dedication to their users. Congratulations!
Who messed it up?? lol
Hi @musicullum , Thanks for the latest version, but unfortunately version 3.0.35 still has the high video lag for me.
Thanks, Johnny ![]()
No mention of it in the history, either.
This topic has not been solved!
Maybe there is a misunderstanding here? Is this perhaps about import of audio from video file, not general playback sync?
Hi @musicullum, not an audio import problem it is a video playback issue, since VSTL 3. I have used the same video files and format since VSTL 1, and all play in sync with other versions except with VSTL 3.
Thanks Johnny ![]()
The problem we could reproduce and reported fixed only showed when play cursor was in “Nowhere Land”, and video clip started thereafter. Then there was a problem that the video wouldn’t start immediately.
We try to find a way to reproduce video out of sync with audio, no such problem here so far, but we keep chasing it.
Hi @musicullum, Thank you.
Video playback, without latency, worked perfectly until version 3.0.23 on February 24th.
The same videos began experiencing latency in playback starting with version 3.0.24 on March 6th.
If you downgrade again to 3.0.23, the same videos will play without latency again.
Thank you very much, that is very useful information. We’ll catch that fish.
Hi @musicullum I can confirm this by @ETTORE_CICHETTI , i have just run VSTL from V3.0.0.74 through to VSTL V3.0.24 and can confirm the high video lag started at V3.0.24.
Thanks, Johnny ![]()
We tried something, pls let us know if it works again with the next version, thank you!
Hi @musicullum , I have installed version 3.0.36 but unfortunately for me the problem still exists ![]()
Thanks, Johnny ![]()
Hi @musicullum , @Spork . I have installed and tried version 3.0.37 but unfortunately the problem of high video lag still exists
, the only thing that is stopping me using V3.
Hopefully a fix soon.
Thanks, Johnny ![]()
We try to reproduce it here but so far w/o “success”. We keep on trying. Anybody else still having this?
We think we found it, pls check with the next version. Sorry it took so long, hard to reproduce.
Hi @musicullum , Thanks for all your time and effort spent on this issue. Fingers crossed for the next release
.
Thanks, Johnny ![]()
