VST Live v2.2 - Midi notes cutting off short. I’m using HALion 7.1 with an external keyboard using the “Eagle - Loud and Clear” instrument. VST Live has started cutting notes off before the note is released. I’m not recording notes just playing the keyboard. The problem seems to be totally random. I don’t recall this being an issue in previous versions/pre-releases.
Cannot reproduce…do you have transport (ply) started?
Maybe the polyphony setting in Halion is too low.
Sorry I didn’t report that I had found a fix, the problem was the buffer size in ASIO driver was too small, I increased it from 256 to 512 and all is good now. Shortly after I made the change I had a major hardware failure and have been in the process of rebuilding one of my systems.
This can be closed, I’m running a newer system now at a buffer size of 192 and all is good.
