Hello,
I’ve been trying to add some extended maraca sounds to my project via a third party VST plug in. I’m using DecentSampler for this purpose. I tried setting up the percussion map and the plug in but I can’t seem to get any sound to play. I’ve tried all three middle C configurations but still no sound. As you can see in the screenshot attached there is sound coming through when I play the sound directly from the engine. This led me to believe that there is something wrong with my percussion map but I can’t figure out what it is.
Hi Chris. Adding a file to play with saves us (helpers) a great deal of time. And does not take you any, since you’re working on it…
Maracas DS test.dorico (1,3 Mo)
I reproduced it here and… it’s working as expected!
[Edit] I added all the provided techniques, but I had to give them names, which are probably wrong — the library has no description of the sounds nor techniques.

Hello,
Sorry, I forgot uploading my file. It seems like I put the percussion map onto the wrong octave of midi notes. I’m wondering why the octave designation from the key board in the engine isn’t correct.
FWIW, I did not touch the default octave thing. And as you might have noticed, it perfectly works
Thank you so much for helping, it’s working for me as well now!
