For some reason the Deesser and Noise Reduction plugins no longer work in Nuendo 4.3 under osx Lion. Are there replacement versions for this problem. I use them all the time in post and really need them on a daily basis.
They’re not working because Lion doesn’t translate ppc-based code.
Don’t know if there are SB-based replacements for 4.3. I use the UAD de-esser, for example, which is great-- there are plenty of native alternatives) and Izotope RX, which so exceeds, in terms of effectiveness and general dependability, what the included plugins could do that there just isn’t any comparison. I have a hard time imagining post without it!
