VST Plugins

I have about 7 folders that are all labeled VST Plugins on my Windows 7 computer. Where should the plugins for WL 9.0.035 (32 bit and 64 bit) be placed. I would like to get rid of the extra folders if possible. Thanks in advance.

As with most programs, you can tell WL what folders to use (some only allow one, and some multiple). Personally I move all my VST installs into C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins (64-bit) and C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\VstPlugins (32-bit) and tell all programs to look there.

Amusing trivia - the installer for SoundField’s (when they were TSL) SurroundZone program for the SPS-200 microphone puts the 32-bit version in the 64-bit directory, and vice versa!

Glad it wasn’t just me - I thought I had a senior moment or 3!

Hi there
I did it like Paul wrote but there plugins are still om “Ignoret plugin” list and are no visible in master section in effect manu. How should I make the “unignored”. It is WL 9 64bit.
Thank’s in advance.

I think you may need to list the plugins concerned so that those who know them can comment on their compatibility.
