I’m having trouble with saving a VST3 preset and recalling that preset. In the GUI view of the VST, in the top bar, saving a preset and recalling it back doesn’t seem to work. I tried it with 2 separate and popular VST3 plugins - Korg’s Wave Station and Music Lab’s RealLPC. I used Reaper to create a VST3 preset and was able to load it without any trouble back when using VST-Live. The saved presets using VST-Live would not load correctly back in Reaper. I also noticed the file size was 2 Bytes larger when saved with VST-Live. Also, when you save the VST settings with the layer, it retains the the VST settings correctly. This only seems to be the case using Windows. On the Mac it seems to be working correctly.
Any Ideas?
