VST problem?

MacOS Sonoma, Mac Studio, Trial version Dorico Pro 5, Addictive Drums VST

I create 2 projects thus far. Both configured using Addictive Drums VST.

My first project works fine with Addictive Drums.
The second project was working without issue. Now for some reason, I’m getting no sound output from the VST? I click on any piece of the kit in Addictive drums and no sound. Even going in to the mapping interface , clicking on an instruction producrs no sound.

I have reset the audio engine, and also the VST. Restarted Dorico.

I’m still having same issue. The VST configs are the same for both.

I’m a little baffled. Any help is appreciated what I should be investigating next.

Hi @deangelisron , could you please load that project , check again that it is mute and then from the menu choose Help > Create Diagnostic Report and post the corresponding zip file here? Thank you

@Ulf Hi, when you say check that it is “mute”, am i selecting all measures and in Properties select Suppress Playback->Always?

thankx

No, I just meant that you check if really no playback sound comes out.
You know, sometimes it happens, users say it doesn’t work and suddenly it does…

ooooo. gotcha

Yes no sound. Loaded other project and no issues.

Dorico Diagnostics.zip (1.7 MB)

thankx for your help :v:

Okay, that’s an easy one. The DoricoBeep channel is in solo mode, that means only the metronome would make sound, if you had it enabled.
You probably hit accidentally the shortcut for channel solo and did not realize it.

OMG … sorry for silly question… still learning getting around Dorico. Another mistske learned.

thankx very much Ulf !!

No worries, happens to all of us from time to time.
