VST Quick Controls - Don't auto show? Or auto load?

In the VSTi tab in the right zone, is there a way to keep the VST quick controls from auto showing/opening whenever a VST instrument is selected in the project window? I’d like to keep these collapsed unless manually opened. Also, is there a way to keep VST instruments from auto loading quick controls when added? The first thing I do after adding a VST instrument is clear and remove all VST quick controls. And maybe it’s just me, but I use them sparingly anyway, so auto setting this is annoying.

There is a setting Remote-Control Focus for VST Quick Controls follows track selection top right (cogwheel) in the VSTi zone. If disabled, VSTi will not be focussed and maximized.

But it will still automap the Quick Controls.
