Vst sdk 3.7.4 + Visual Studio 16 2019 doesn't compile

Tried over and over, but this combination in the title fails to build. I did finally succeed by taking the 3.7.0 release and building it. What version of Visual Studio is known to work with 3.7.4?

Hi,
a little bit more information is needed. What is the error you get? We all are still using Visual Studio 16 2019 here and we all can build the SDK without issues.

Solved it. It was trying to install the samples and I was running compile from a non-administrator window.
