Since I upgraded to Cubase 12, I’ve been having issues with VST tracks that MAY have a plugin or two, sometimes none. They’ve been making this really brutal bit-crushed distorted noise and you can’t hear anything else. It usually happens with complex Serum patches or big Kontakt libraries. I never had this problem in previous versions of Cubase. Cubase used to be totally silent when it was CPU-overloaded but now it glitches very loudly just like Fruity Loops!!
