If a VST Window (e.g., HALion) is open on top of the main Dorico window, when you click in the Dorico window, the VST window disappears and … ? It seems the only way to get it back again is to click the “Edit Instrument” button in the relevant track and re-open the VST plug-in window.
“Normally” in an app (on a Mac) you can use the Command-Apostrophe/Tilde key to cycle through open windows in the currently open app. Not so in Dorico, correct?
Not sure on Mac / Dorico but in Cubase on Windows you can click the little arrow on the top right of the plugin window (nexct to the camera icon) and select "“Always on Top”, is that of any use?
Also .. if you go to another app while the VST window is open on top of the Dorico window (again—on a Mac), when you come back to Dorico, that window is gone. Am I missing something?
Oddly enough … If you arrange your Dorico windows (including the VST window) so that they’re both visible—even if they’re overlapping—you can go to another app and come back and both windows will remain open.
Nevertheless, even when you’re in Dorico with VST windows visible, you still can’t use the Command-Tilde command to cycle through them.
