I’m trying to find some decent details on how to set up a VST host in Windows.
The reason is for easier debugging and the discomfort of building a VST then running it through the test host or even in Cubase. I want to run and try it from Visual Studio for a more rapid development.
So far the SDK have pointed me to:
- InterAppAudio example but is iOS specific (http://vstdev.richackard.com/doc/vstsdk … audio.html)
- Vst-intefaces for host: http://vstdev.richackard.com/doc/vstint … IHost.html
- Validator, a small testing host that load and validates the VST3 from console.
I find that there is lack of information regarding how to set a host up. Is there any approach here that someone can help me with, I’m not that familier with the API but perhaps someone have already gone through this process and have som guide lines to give me.
