Vst3 Window Scaling in Cubase

Hey folks,

So I’m trying to make a Musio template inside of Cubase 15. Problem is, whenever I open the Musio window, it grows each time to the point where I have to drag it multiple times to the left just so I can close it, the scaling is way off, and I’m not sure how to stop it from growing like that. Other vst windows are fine, like Kontakt, for example. I’m not sure if its a cubase or Musio issue, but any help would be great.

This is what it looks like, for example.

You can try to set up the plugin window so that it fits and then save this setting as the Default preset in Cubase Preset Management (command Save as Default Preset).

A workaround for closing:
Click the windows key and the arrow key to move the plugin window to the screen edge, then the closing X should be visible.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like it works that way. I would say I just need a monitor, but again, the plugin window just keeps expanding every time I open it, so I doubt that would help. If it helps any, I’m having problems with the Musio plugin from Cinesamples.

Do you by chance have “HiDPI” enabled in the Preferences? some plugins don’t work with that.

There is also some setting in the plugin context menu that reads like it. An be used to mitigate such issues, but I never tried it

Thanks so much! It seems that this was the issue, disabling HiDPI fixed it. That’s a relief!
