VSTi Blocklist issue - workround please

Hi

I opened an older project and was informed that one of the plugins i was using had been added to the Blacklist. Ok i thought, I’ll simply exchange that piano for another…but the project crashes every time and Cubase closes so I cannot open it to do that
is there a workround so i can exchange the VSTi?

you can first try to reactive the plugin in question if it is blacklisted. 2nd option would be to open cubase with no plugins loaded, then remove the plugin from the project - then restart and try again
