Hello all, I’m just getting started with Cubase 10.5 Pro, and I’m running into a problem. I’m using an orchestral VSTi (the SONiVOX orchestral companion strings), but it’s having all sort of problems when played back. Notes are not played, played and then immediately cut out, or played and then suddenly get very loud at the end of the note. All of these things happen completely at random too, sometimes they happen and sometimes they don’t. It’s different each time I play it back or export it. How do I fix this?

Try to increase Buffer Size of your Audio Device, please.
All three of the Sonivox Orchestral Companion plugins (strings, brass, winds) are blocklisted by Cubase 10.5.20 (Windows 10 Pro v1909).
Is anyone able to run these?

Then there is probably a reason why Cubase did blocklist them. Maybe you should get in contact with the plug-in manufacturer.

The reason I’m asking if anyone else is able to run them is to see if the problem is with Cubase or Sonivox. If others can run them without being blocklisted, then it suggests the problem is with my setup.
Sonivox is not very responsive.
