vst's & audio plug-ins working, but not 'popping up'.

I’m having a problem with my vst’s and audio plugins not popping up.
They work fine and show up where they’re supposed to, but when added, the interface is not shown.
I have to click “edit” (piano icon) for them to show.

I’ve used several different versions of Cubase, but this is the first time I’ve had this problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
(I’m using Cubase 8.5 Artist with windows 8.1)

Hi,

Check this: Preferences > VST > Plug-ins > Open Effect Editor After Loading it. This is enabled, by default.
