VU Meter Moving Before the sound - Reverse Latency

This is probably a silly fix, but here’s my issue.

My VU Meters on plugins are moving before the playback cursor is actually playing the sound. I’m seeing this in multiple plugins from different developers.

I am only having the issue with Track Channels, but not the Bus Channels. I tried switching buffer sizes on my RME RayDat card, re-installing my GFX card drivers.

If anyone is experiencing the same or has a solution, please chime in. Thank you in advance.

Could you try in Cubase Safe Start Mode, please?

There is no latency compensation for the GUI of many 3rd party plug-ins. If processes further down the road delay a signal there’s no way for these plug-ins to know about that.
