VU Normalization with Max Peak

My request:

I’d like VU Normalization with Max. Peak Level added to the ‘Normalize’ process. It would speed up gain-staging for mixing - because I use a lot of plugins that perform better at or expect to see 0 VU.


I want to be able to batch normalize files to 0 VU, but with a rule that the maximum true peak level can not be exceeded.

So, please add this page to the ‘Normalize’ window:

VU Normalization = -18 dBFS (Selectable via knob and window)
Max. Peak = -6 dB (Selectable via knob and window)
