This used to be great in SX3 - almost instant loading of each track you’d chosen…
Since C5 (maybe C4…?) its been, waiting… waiting…
Any comment SB…? Why the routines put in to create these ‘wait states’ …?
bump…it’s horrible the way it is for sure.
I had to import 6 songs for a client the other day it was embarrassing it was so slow. I was waiting for him to say dude program xxxx imports way quicker.
Er… that’s why they invented Wavelab. You know. The professional mastering suite.
For reasons that are obvious to me but probably offensive to those that cannot afford it. 
I’m lucky I guess - I’ve no clients present whilst working… 
I just remember this sort of task being (a little) less tedious…
I hope you’re kidding. Ofcourse Cubase owners shouldn’t have to buy wavelab to import CD’s. 
Something’s broken with the CD import and has been for ages. End of story.
