Hello.
I’ve been insisting on having a non ASIO driver for years now, but it didn’t happen. The good thing is I’ve been learning about Claude and I asked it to videcode me a driver and it did it, really well actually. I’m currently testing it.
Is there any interest in me releasing it?
It works for DaVinci Resolve too, very nice.
Thank you
Since Cubase only accepts ASIO on Windows and there already are several bridge drivers available for free… my interest is very low.
If you don’t know why you need this then it’s ok. But it is def. neccesary by now. ASIO4all was interesting but didn’t work well enough.
You asked, I replied. It’s ok if my reply is not what you hoped for.
Still, which latencies do you achieve with your solution? Are you using WASAPI’s exclusive mode?
Hello! thank you!, no, the driver allows you to set either shared or exclusive. It’s actually very good. I wasn’t expecting it to be good in any way. I’m not into vibecoding but I really needed this one.
