Hi,
I saw in a recent Cubase 14.0.20 video (by Dom Sigalis) that WAV files can have markers that can be imported/exported in Cubase.
Can Dorico 6 by any chance also export rehearsal markers to WAV?
Hi,

The equivalent feature in Dorico would be exporting markers, not rehearsal marks:
I don’t think these appear in the WAV yet like they do in Cubase (it is a brand new feature in Cubase). In Cubase they can be exported as part of the WAV simply by checking the appropriate box in the Export Audio Mixdown window. It works pretty well, I have used this feature already because I sometimes do recordings of live concerts and need to edit them later, and my recorder puts markers in when I hit the button where the various pieces start and end. So now I can bring those recordings into Cubase along with the markers, do the mixing and adjust the markers where I had hit the button a little early or late and give the markers more descriptive names, then export the entire thing with updated markers again and open it in Wavelab for the mastering. I can then make a Wavelab montage which automatically slices up the tracks based on the marker positions exported by Cubase as a part of the WAV, which then creates a multi-track album (with no space between the tracks), already with the correct names, so this feature saves me a lot of work.
Dorico does not (yet) have this checkbox in its equivalent audio export window.
