I’m having another in a string of weird file problems with Cubase.
Attempting to import a .wav file is not successful, and it brings up an error message- “Cannot convert this type of file.” It also happens if I convert the file to .mp3. This has never happened before. Can anyone explain how to fix this please?
How many channels does the WAV file contain? What is the sample-rate, bit depth…? Maybe could you share a sample of the WAV file?
Thanks for your response Martin. After some more investigation, it appears that for some reason the audio converter I was using did not fully convert to either .wav or.mp3, so there was no usable information in the files. Time to dump that converter.
