Audio exported with all possible export/play settings from MC6.5 registers 3db lower in Cubase 11. The exports register as their original level when they import back into Media Composer. (I tested the exported audio elsewhere: it imports into Final Cut 3db lower too, but into Audacity at its original level.)
I am concerned that the level decrease (if that’s what’s really happening and not some sort of metadata calibration flaw) followed by an increase (when I use gain to recover the level) will degrade the already-poor audio I am exporting from my MC timeline, further reducing the quality of this audio, which I am taking into Cubase to repair.
