why does cubase 13 keep trashing my wave images

Hi,

Try to delete all files from the Images folder, please.

deleted image files but still reload as photo
+tried to delete the corrupted images in the image folder but they dont exist
( assuming they have the same name as the wav file they are supposed to represent )
update : if i create a new project and import the affected tracks . . .everything displays as normal ???
