Now, I know, that this is the Nuendo forum, but I watched one of the Cubase Pro videos and noticed something odd. The new “Wave Metre” mode allows the engineer to see the waveforms in the mix console, BUT, the waveforms travel from bottom to top!
That doesn’t help; you don’t know that the waveform is there until it’s THERE, in front of you! Don’t the waveforms in Nuendo move from top to bottom?! Isn’t that more helpful?!
They move the same way as in Nuendo, bottom to top. The point of playback is in the center, so it’s not like “you don’t know that the waveform is there until it’s there”, if I understand your objection correctly.
