Hi!
I just upgraded from cubase elements 10.5 to Cubase Pro 11.
Before the upgrade I was using a bunch of Waves plugins, which I for some reason cannot find in Cubase now. I’ve tried a full reinstall of both Cubase and Wave Plugins, and I still have no Idea how to make it even find the plugins.
Anyone?
Cubase 11.0.41.448 64bit 2021.11.27 22.41.39.099.dmp (794.1 KB)
I’ve managed to get waves “Waveshell1-vst3 13.2_x64.vst3” to come up in my Blocklist. And when I try to reactivate it, I get the error message “A serious problem has occured…”
HELP!
Hi,
I’m glad, Cubase internal plug-in tests are working properly. So there was a reason to blocklist the plug-in, when it is crashing Cubase.
There are these 3 lines in the call stack:
KERNELBASE!RaiseException+0x69
VCRUNTIME140!_CxxThrowException+0x90
WaveShell1_VST3_13_2_x64+0x47247b
That means, get in contact with the plug-in vendor, please.
Hey Martin!
Thank you for taking a look!
Do you have any idea what to specifically ask of them? It’s apparently a thing, with their plug-ins that they don’t translate well across updates…
Hi,
I would share the dmp file. They should be able to find, where the issue is from the file. And then fix it.
Good luck!
