create empty project > import audio/wav > the waveform graphic in the arrange window has not the right form

waveform1.jpg not correct
waveform2.jpg looks correct if you adjust the volume to minus 40dB / 60 dB
Looks like you may have inadvertently stored cubase with the Zoom Waveform Slider set to zoom.
It’s on the top right corner.
