So my waveforms all of the sudden disappeared. At first glance the audio event seems to be a solid block . But if you look at the second image which is zoomed into a 16th note they aren’t solid.
I don’t know what’s going on and nothing I’ve tried in preferences fixes it.
Anyone have any ideas?

In all seriousness, are you on a Mac or a PC? If you are on a PC, did you change any display settings, or get a driver update?
Nope not that user. I’m on PC and no settings were changed. Happened while I was editing that piece of audio. One second it was normal and the next it looked like that.
