In Preferences/Global/Display/Miscellaneous Options, the item in the 2nd line:
“Restrict Scaling to Multiples of 100”, just below item “Show Application in High DPI”.
Maybe you’re on Mac, then you won’t see it, because it’s for Windows only.

Strange that nobody seems to know it… 
I had a problem with Steinberg plugins displaying correctly and checking that box did the trick…on Win7
