Of course there are other tools.. I would have liked to do the job directly in WL. Then I’ll probably downgrade to WL11, if it still works. ![]()

Sorry for being sarcastic here. But even though WL is a phantastic program in itself, I am rather disappointed by its lack of basic functions. It costs 489 €…
The operating system sets the limit. On Mac, you can encode up to 320 kps, but not on Windows.
If I remember correctly I had to login online to my Steinberg account (not the Download Assistant nor the Activation Manager) and redeem a voucher for the Fraunhofer AAC, then I could activate it.
I upgraded from WaveLab 11 Pro, so not sure if you would also get a voucher if you owned the Elements version.

I have asked Steinberg support. You were right, the voucher was only for the Pro’s. Too bad
