I have been using WL for many years “pitching” from a Ref track and “catching” on a stereo track - using hardware outputs and inputs for each track. As of this update, the Stereo “catching” track is not receiving audio. I’ve restarted all systems, confirmed the I/O is correct, made sure Direct Monitoring is disabled, all that I can think to do. I’m getting signal at my ADC just before the AES input.
I tried this exact same routing using PT and I’m getting signal as expected…
Please let me know if you all are seeing this and if there’s a potential piece I’m missing.
What was the last WaveLab version where this was working for you? This part of WaveLab has not been touched for quite a while. My best guess is that your WaveLab Audio Connection setup is incomplete.
I figured it out - I did not realize Wavelab required access to the Microphone in Privacy and Security settings to use an interface of any sort. I don’t recall if this was the case before but it’s working now. It’s strange because my upper task bar shows a Microphone icon in orange as if it’s actually using a microphone. Is there a way to resolve that?
