Wavelab 12: Clip Plugin meters get stuck after Stop

The meters of Clip Plugins get stuck after a Clip is played. This happens on both machines, PC and Mac. Watch the video.

Known issue? Any solutions?

I can’t reproduce. But this is probably caused by your very short file.

Short file… So Wavelab is not entirely suitable for sample editing? This is what I bought it for in the first place.
The meters in the Mastersection behave normally, with the very same file. I doubt that the problem is caused by any property of the material I’m working on. And if so, it would be a total bummer.

You can add a marker beyond the clip end, to extend the montage with silence, and let the meters fall down.

Thank you for the advice. I tried that and it doesn’t change anything. It might be an idea, but the issue has nothing to do with file length. Even with longer files, the bug remains what it is. Also, adding and later removing silence to/from hundreds of files would only add to my workload instead of actually solving a problem that shouldn’t be there in the first place.
Only Clip plugins are affected. Track, Output, Mastersection plugins all work fine (I haven’t tested Group plugins yet).

Hi!

I have tested very short sample like 1 ms and more sec in a Montage/Clip
even in loop mode I can’t get Clip Plugin meters get stuck after Stop, it works here.
