Hi all,
It seems the easy fade is not working for me in Wavelab 12 (at least not the way it’s always worked in the past).
I keep getting this error:
To perform an ‘Easy Fade’, you need to select the start or the end of the Audio File.
Even though I HAVE selected from the start/end.
Anyone else having this issue?
Cheers,
Bill
ps I’m on Mac M1 Pro Monterey
Hi!
What version of WL and do you mean in AudioEditor ?
regards S-EH
Hi S-EH,
Wavelab Pro 12, latest update afact, and yeah, AudioEditor, not montage.
Cheers,
Bill
ps I can get it to work if I zoom out but it defeats the point of the shortcut!
If you zoom in and make an selection, make a fadeout.
What doesn’t work with a shortcut in ms or seconds ?
regards S-EH
It works when I zoom in, not when out (so doesn’t work in seconds)…but it used to.
Basically I’d drag cursor from within wavefile to end, command D and it would fade in or out depending on if I’m at start or end…but now, I get that pop-up message unless I zoom in. Just started in WL Pro 12.
Cheers
Bill

No problem here. I guess your selection must not reach the exact start or end.

That’s really strange as I can’t drag it any further. I’ll try restarting to see if there’s something going on.
Thanks for checking that out your end.
Best,
Bill
