What are the Wavelab 12 .vs suffix files used for?
Can I safely delete them?

They contain information such as zoom and audio selections, among others. They can be safely deleted, but it is advisable to keep them for a more comfortable editing session. You can choose their location there:

Thanks for heads up, that should tidy things. I selected specific folder location which is the Cache location, they should I assume then always be available but removed from appearing in project file locations.
