The Pitch Bend function in the Wavelab 12 audio editor has all kinds of problems for me, such as:
sometimes not able to pitch bend at all when selecting part of the wav (especially with shorter selections)
not pitch bending to the values entered into the graph
length of the result not corresponding to what it should be naturally when pitching downward or upward, even when Length Preservation is turned off
Anyone else experiencing this too?

This processor had problems in WaveLab 11.2, but these problems were solved in WaveLab 12.
Hence, please give more details and accurate examples.
In Wavelab 12 (not 11.2), do the following:
create a 1 second wav file
select the first 200 ms
open pitch bend
turn length preservation off, enter a range of +12 semitones, and reset any existing envelope
move the first point in the graph up to +12 and keep the second point at 0
click “Apply”
nothing happens (item 1 from first post)
now click on the “flip the envelope around the horizontal axis” button so that the graph goes from -12 to 0
click “Apply”
a pitch bend of some kind is applied, but the result is not a bend from -12 to 0 (item 2 from first post)
the result is also not the correct length, it should make the whole file longer and not shorter (item 3 from first post)
Let me know if you need more info.

I see. This tool was not conceived for such small ranges, and an update will be necessary.

The small range was just an easy example for showing all three of the issues at once, but large ranges also have issues. For example, even with a longer selected range (in a larger wav file) and otherwise using the same parameters as above, the end of the pitch bend “jumps” to the normal audio and does not transition smoothly.
Thank you for the fix, looking forward to the update.
