WaveLab 13 Loudness - Reporting Incorrect/Different Values vs WL12

Hi there,

I noticed that my audio loudness levels are being reported incorrectly in WaveLab Pro 13 - or just differently vs WaveLab Pro 12.

I compared values from WaveLab Pro 12 and WaveLab Pro 13.

WaveLab Pro 12:

I’m running it on:
Windows 11 Pro 24H2
WaveLab Pro 12.0.51
WaveLab Pro 13.0.0

I’m using Pro-L 2 which has a very good True Peak limiter when set up correctly, and WaveLab Pro 12 has always reported the same exact True Peak values. WaveLab Pro 13 seems to show different True Peak and Integrated LUFS values.

It might give a better idea exporting the same file with both versions and analyse them with youlean loudness meter.

Thank you for your insightful feedback. There is in fact a problem, but not too serious in fact. The problem is that the option “without master section” is ignored.
If you reset the master section, you will get the correct values.
This only concerns the audio editor.
This will be fixed in WaveLab 13.0.10
